Welcome to Royal Heritage Farm's website.

RHF was established in 1980 mostly as a "Hobby Farm". In 1993 we bought thirteen head of average longhorns and quickly became hooked on these majestic animals. We went to Johnny Hoffman's "Louisiana Purchase" sale in 1994. We bought five Emperor daughters and a bull and gained a passion for top quality cattle with the longest horns we could get. In 1996 after exhibiting the Grand Champion two year old heifer and the Reserve Champion all age cow at the International Championship Show we were named the "New Breeder of the Year". By that time we had collected six of the top twenty cows for horn length, including the two longest horned black cows in the breed. The most productive and predictable of those cows was the legendary JMC Phenomenal Abigail. We have six of her daughters today sired by some of the top bulls in the breed. They all are valued members of our foundation cow herd.
We are currently using AI, embryo transfer and natural breeding. We recently returned from the Longhorn World Championship in Guthrie, OK. Where our Jr. herd sire, RHF Sharpshooter won the total and complete horn competition with a whopping 87 3/8 total and 188 1/4 complete horn at thirty months of age. His dam, Burnin Daylight won her class in Tip to Tip competition and his sire, the famous Top Cailber bull won his class and is the longest horned bull in the breed. In the Heifer Sale our two consignments, RHF Lorena and RHF Carena were the no. 2 and No. 4 highest selling heifers. We feel that we are definitely on the right track with our program and are scheduling embryo transfers from RHF upper crust, Burnin Daylight, ZD Delta Suzann and RHF Heart Throb. They have been mated with four of the top bulls in the breed, Boomerang CP, Overkill, Top Caliber and JP Rio Grande.
